The Principal Island Library is open in all hours of the day.
The library has several important books for Twinsen, such as the Book about the Legend in the Censored Publications Department, and the Captain's Log of LeBorgne.
There is also a section for movie projections.

- Rabbibunny attendant
- His job is to service the visitors and keep an eye for undesirable types. He rushes to sound the alarm in the corner behind him whenever Twinsen shows himself as such, and a Quetch Clone shows up. Which happens if Twinsen:
- asks him about the Legend of Sendell and shows his ID, or asks him for Teleportation Center plans
- attacks him or tries to steal from the counter beside him. The counter has 15 kashes in it that can only be picked up after he moves out of the way.
- Rabbibunny chief librarian
- He can be seen walking around the main area of the library. His doctor told him to only drink tap water but he has a problem with its taste. He promises Twinsen to show him the book about the Legend in the Censored Publications Department if he can do something about that. Much later, Twinsen can pour the Flask of Clear Water into the Water Tower to cure him from his medical condition entirely.
- Rabbibunny reader
- He is found sitting on a table reading. He tells Twinsen that FunFrock's busts that aren't on a thick square pedestal were put there to cover the undestructible Seals of Sendell. This hint refers to the busts at the center of Lupin-Burg and the Old Burg which hide significant bonuses.
- Grobo sailor
- After the chief librarian obtains LeBorgne's diary, he can be seen in the back room studying it. He agrees to read a few of excerpts from it to Twinsen, including the one about the location of the pirate's treasure in the Proxima Island.
- Grobo Star Wars fan
- This Grobo is seen sitting alone in the theatre and speaks with a French accent. He says that he is a huge Star Wars fan and is already reserving a seat for the next sequel.
- Sphero reader
- He wanders among the shelves and often hops in order to reach higher shelves. He tells Twinsen that he has found a torn-out page with the hint "pull middle lever once and then pull right lever once" which must be an answer to some kind of puzzle. And it indeed is — to the puzzle with three moving platforms near the 2nd statue in the Temple of Bù.
- Grobo reader
- He sits at a table in the main hall reading about the Hamalayi Mountains. He tells Twinsen the location of the Clear Water Lake as well as some background info. He expresses support for FunFrock having cleared the Northern hemisphere and disdain for the Rebels.
